Mamta and Puja

Mamta and Puja, who are 14 and 12 years old, walk 5-7 hours per day to collect water, so they are unable to attend school. They often walk in the scorching heat and intense winds during the summer. Mamta and Puja’s mother hopes that one day Mamta and Puja will be able to complete their education and then go to college.

With your support, Mamta and Puja’s will be able to attend school. A rainwater harvesting tank will provide water for 9 months and can be refilled with pond water. In addition, Mamta and Puja will receive a bicycle, school supplies, and money for tuition.
